Let me introduce you to my long-time friend, Jamin Binning. This guy loves photography and design, always has the best hair cuts, and a beard that most men are envious of. You'll see him roaming the coastline (& countryside) between Kingscliff and Burleigh taking magnificent photos of landscape, families and friends.

What's your name?

Jamin Binning

Where do you live and what do you do?

I currently live in the beautiful coastal town of Kingscliff in Northern New South Wales! I am a Graphic Designer & Photographer but I am also studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Southern Cross University.

Tell us about your family.

Where do I begin? I was adopted from Nepal at a young age. So I have a family in Nepal and a family in Australia. How cool is that!

What inspires you?

I really get inspired by Instagram. What once started as a small little app with a few very hideous filters, has now opened doors and pathways to be able to inspire others, myself being one of them. I have spent hours just flicking through different creative feeds! It is a great way to connect with people and share the love!

If you were a flower what would it be?

I would be a cactus flower. Something so prickly, painful and not very appealing to the eye can all of a sudden produce a beautiful little flower that comes out of the barren landscape below.

My bedside table...

has a lamp, a candle and always three or more unfinished books.

Home...

for me will always be Perth, it's where I grew up and where my family live.

My favourite instagrammer...

changes regularly, but currently it's @allietaylor. She knows how to use her iphone!

The best medicine is...

water! We don't drink enough of it.

I have creative impulses when...

i'm driving. I always get inspired by my surroundings

I'm learning to unlearn...

doubt- it's a barrier between you and success.
